What does a FliteGrid sensor do?
It receives nearby drones’ Remote ID broadcasts and sends them to SkySafe. The network contributes to awareness of drone activity.
Does it use my home or business Wi-Fi?
FliteGrid’s current sensor offering uses built-in LTE connectivity. You provide a suitable outdoor location and reliable power.
Can I receive payments for hosting?
Contact TX HIFI to discuss the local hosting offer, qualification requirements and payment details for your property. The arrangement and applicable terms should be confirmed before you commit.
Is every property eligible?
Availability varies by coverage area. The location also needs a suitable outdoor spot and reliable power. An inquiry is the first step, rather than a guarantee of approval.
